The Gap is trying to be better, it's still got forever to go - BUT among it's competitors (except Levi's) they're making a much better product than they did a few years ago.+10% more off with code GREAT
The teams at Gap are making product you will wear and you will keep and likely a lot of it you will wear out. At CANAVA they're actually the brand responsible for me adding in a fourth rating to our F*CK Yes, Yes But, and HARD NO ratings - we added "NOT YET" because of their progress.
1. Better Design
2. Better sourcing - more recycled - more organic etc..
3. Social and impact and recycling and repair are a part of the conversation in ways they weren't. (it's so far from being an actual thing to recommend them on)
The most regenerative thing you can do is not get new stuff - not fully practical in 2026, and denim, tee's, undies and sweats across most bodies from birth is something the Gap does well (again).
