Christies New York Art Sales Rooms

Go up to Rockafeller Center before the auctions and walk the rooms, a different kind of museum and often the only chance you get to see masterpieces that go from private owner to private owner. Free and inspiring + there's a very good coffee bar in the lobby and it too is free.
