Sean MacPherson and the team behind the Hotel Chelsea, The Bowery, The Crow's Nest and many more spots have just opened a new all day spot in Montauk at the old lighthouse. It's far and it's totally worth the drive and views alone.

Fun fact my first trip to Montauk decades ago was to decamp to a rental Sean had taken where Tom Sachs was sleeping in a tent in the backyard and a cast of characters you have surely read about came and went over the weekend. Infamously the weekend that Lizzie Grubman was arrested for plowing intentionally into a crowd of people WTAF.

Things are far more instagram glossy out there now. I was just out to take a look yesterday and I vote - go now if you can before the wild crowds descend in July & August.
