I own both, I bought both. The larger one is longer than most rollers and not rock hard, which means when you lay on it to release your back it is your WHOLE spine - and it's lovely.

The smaller one I use on the daily as well and alwasy pack in my carry on or car when traveling, it's perfect for rolling out your legs when you land or working out a neck kink, it's also softer and works as a maintenance and physical therapy tool depending on your needs.
